Minato took his own bowl with a quiet "thank you" and started eating much more slowly. It was very good, and he told Kakashi so.

A nod, a grateful smile. "Thanks." Kakashi, too, ate extremely fast, though not as fast as Kushina. It was ramen, after all, and so she soon took her second portion.

Minato ate much more slowly and was only halfway done when both of them had finished.

Kakashi went for seconds, too, and when he was halfway through the bowl, Kushina went for her third. He grinned and shook his head. "I won't ever fathom how you can eat that much."

"Did you ever see her train?" Minato deadpanned.

"I did, of course. I've fought against her, after all. And still she eats more than I do. Despite everything."

"Maybe she stores it somewhere secret," Minato joked.

"Might be." he grinned, and Kushina, mouth stuffed with ramen, glared at the both of them.

Minato gave her an apologetic smile and a kiss to one stuffed cheek. She looked a bit like a hamster when she ate. A very cute hamster. He better not tell her that or he'd get punched into next week.

The weakest blush, and she swallowed her mouthful, huffed, pouting, and looked the other way while she ate the rest.

Kakashi just smirked at her pretend 'insulted' demeanor.

He had a few compliments about her body that he could think of, but he wasn't going to give them to her with Kakashi around. So he just sat and grinned at her, probably looking rather idiotic.

... Yeah, he did. Causing a chuckle from Kakashi as he merely shook his head at the couple.

Minato blushed a little, aware that he'd been staring. "Uhm, can I have seconds?" he asked Kakashi with a grin.

"Sure. Eat until the pot's empty, if you can." he shrugged, grinned. "If you don't, she will, either way."

"...probably," agreed Minato, and hurried to grab a second bowl. He had wondered if his girlfriend had some sort of accelerated metabolism. Maybe she was half humming bird. ...okay, all this stress was definitely getting to his head. He settled for just eating his food.

And Kushina went for her -now- fifth bowl of ramen. The speed was a tad slower now, though.

Lalala, eating. Okay, he could deal with this. Joking around with Kakashi. Yeah. Almost weirder than going to be a Dad and everything.

"Since I cooked, you do the dishes. Fair deal?" Kakashi asked, stretching a little, while Kushina downed the last of the fifth bowl - glancing at the last contents of the pot, trying to decide.

"Yeah, definitely." Minato looked apprehensively at Kushina. "You _are_ eating for two," he reminded her with an odd sense of pride.

A deep blush appeared on her cheeks. "Dun' say it like that..." but still, she took the rest, filling her sixth bowl.

"Like what? I think it's great. Other girls are always dieting, it's stupid," he said tenderly. He had to learn to cook for her...

"Wouldn't it be just a tad stupid to diet, with as much as I usually train?" she looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah. Exactly. Well, it's always stupid but.. Anyway, I like that you're not. Like other girls, I mean." Why did he get awkward around her just because there was someone listening in? It wasn't fair!! He quickly scooted over and started stacking dishes in the sink.

"Heh... 'S boring to be like everything else." she simply said.

"You're definitely not boring either." Doing them dishes like a boss.
