Time to meet the parents! [During the summer holidays at Kushina's house. Open to anyone who'd be there, I guess :)]

"No, but the ground isn't either. Especially if it comes at you at 90 kilometres an hour."

She sighed. "I've been riding it for two years now, and have only been thrown off once, which was the second or third time I drove it. I know what I'm doing." a weak smile.

He very, very nearly had a very unsuitable reply for that, but he bit it back. "Just.. be careful," he muttered.

A small nod. "I will."

"...but that's probably not fun."

"Don't worry about it. I'll figure out something."

"I don't want you to think of my... my... weird feelings everytime you want to do something..." Yeah, he did.

"I won't." she muttered, and kissed him again, then sighed. "Should we just drive back, or do you want to go meet the boys?"

"I wanna drive some more. It's fun! Just.. don't do jumps when I can see it," Minato tried to lighten the mood, feeling like the largest spoilsport ever.

"... Not even if I keep both hands on the handle?"

A brief flash of panic across his face at the thought of jumping without hands on the handle. "Uhm.... maybe.. maybe later."

"... Kay." a weak smile and she got up on her quad again. "Care for some racing?"

"Yeah, I think I figured out how to go in a straight line..." he hopped off and got back on his own bike. Taking a good hold of the handles and revving up the engine.

A grin from her, and she was off.

He was behind her, but not too far behind. He still slowed down every time he hit a bump, though, so soon he was eating her dust.

Sme, meanwhile, grinned, and turned to the left when she reached the end of the field.

Yeah, he drove after. Soon, way after. Not really cool with the turns, here.

And she waited politely so he could catch up, before she went at it again.

"You don't have to treat me like a bike-invalid," he shouted after her with a grin.

"But you are?" she yelled back, grinning and winking.

"Piss off!" he laughed, trying to get around her and failing. "This is my first time. You said I learn fast before!"

"Apparently not too fast with this!" she teased.

"IT'S BEEN TWENTY MINUTES!!!"

"I learned it in that time," she grinned. "After my first crash," she chuckled, and turned again.

"Yeah, you're really awesome. Except I never crashed, so i guess I'M MORE AWESOME!!" (he shouted the last bit since she was getting away again.)
