Minato just groaned and buried his face in his hands.

She bit her lip, fiddling a little with the bed sheet. "I just..." she sighed. "... Please don't..." she could feel where this was going, but she refused to believe it.

"Don't what? Realise that what we each want maybe isn't... maybe is something we can't.. give?"

She shook her head. "Don't... Don't say that. We can work around it. We could with everything else."
