And, sighing, she got dressed and went downstairs to help Kakashi with the cooking.

It was only half an hour before Minato came back from the run, drenched in sweat and panting hard.

By then, he'd see a motorcycle(a cheaper one, but still) parked beside the car outside, and true enough, Jake was seated at the table while Kakashi and Kushina put the last things on the table.

He noticed, but realised with some joy that he was almost too tired out to care. He walked in the kitchen and said a friendly enough "hi" to everyone. Then, without thinking, whipped off his shirt and wiped his face in it.

- t a blush from Kushina. Kakashi, though, pointedly ignored it and kept right on talking with Jake.

Minato blushed when he realised his mistake - and then, wondered why Kakashi wasn't affected. Maybe having Clone Guy there really helped. A mental shrug, and he went to grab a glass of water, chest still naked.

"Souhm." Jake gave a discreet cough. "You remember what I texted you about last week?" "Oh. The song you wrote? Yeah." "If you want to hear it, I'll gladly play it to you..." the soft blush on Jake's cheeks clearly told what kind of song it was.

Urgh. Oh no. No more love songs. Minato's self control kept him from gagging on his water, but it was close. He hung out around the sink and ignored rock star and Substitute Him.

"Of course I want to." Kakashi smiled. "You've got to have a look at how the video turned out for the collab. It's really good."

Kushina was busy eating a small tower of pancakes.

Urgh. Look at him being all nice to Substitute. It was.. kinda sad. And gross. Urgh.

"... I'd very much like to." Jake smiled, and leant over for just a short kiss.

Okay.. maybe it was because Jake looked so much like him, Minato, but that was really... really... odd.

Kakashi returned it, for the few seconds it lasted, then smiled at him afterwards. "That's settled, then."

Kushina had a sightly vacant look for a few seconds.

Minato noticed her.
Yuck.
Was it too soon to go for another run?

A trying-for-discreet cough, and Kushina padded the empty seat next to her."Coming over? I made the pancakes and cooked the bacon."

Sighing mentally, Minato padded over and had a seat. "Sorry if I smell. It's really hot!" he put on the blinding smile he knew would go straight to the crotches of at least two people there.

That, Kakashi couldn't really ignore, and swallowed his egg with slight difficulties as his cheeks heated.

"Y-yeah, it is..." Kushina stammered slightly.

That small evil Inner Minato cackled maniacally, and that, along with the heady surge of power he felt, was enough for Minato to turn the smile up a notch as he picked up a strip of bacon and started chewing casually, "accidentally" spilling a bit and needing to lick his lips.

... Slight shuffling of legs across the table. And beside him.

Muahahahahahahaha...
He poured himself a glass of water and, totally on purpose, dribbled a little down his chin so it ran down his chest.

A certain guy ate a little faster after that.

He set down the glass with a small, pleased moan. (Kushina and Kakashi would both recognise that sound.)

... Yeah. Pretty identical blushes.

Minato stretched "casually," folding his arms behind his head and flexing his pecs and biceps.

Eventually, Kakashi swallowed the rest of his food with slight difficulties, then rose to take his plate out into the kitchen. And if he walked slightly faster than usually, who'd notice?
