"Hmm..." he thought har about that one. ".... Nearly four years, now. Me and Rin got the idea, asked some of our buddies in music class, and... Yeah." he grinned.

"Cool," Minato grinned. He had to respect people for sticking to their stuff. "You getting some decent gigs?"

He nodded, smiling. "Since we finally got our first cd out, about half a year ago, then yeah." he grinned. "Crowds doubled to about 200 per gig."

A CD, even. "That's cool.. I don't think a lot of people our age have a CD out," Minato was doing his best, he really was, but yeah, he was jealous, so sue him.

A small smile. "No, you're right, there aren't that many. Imagine our faces when the record company said yes after hearing a demo."

"Yeah, must feel awesome," it helped that he knew Kakashi wasn't perfect in many other ways. "Probably hard work though."

He nodded. "One of the best days in our lives, to be precise. So, working on the next one as of now." he waved the notepad a little. "I'm the one writing all of the lyrics, after all." he shrugged. "But yeah... It's nice. Already earning a decent amount with those gigs." Not that he really needed more money, but who knew. One day he might need them.

FUCKING SHOWOFF ARGHARGGGHHHH.. okay, breathe. Be nice. "It's cool that you can earn money doing something you like." Another smile, pretty earnest.

He nodded. "It's the best. It's why I've been encouraging Kushina, too... Though I doubt she really needs any encouragement." he grinned. "Nah, not really." she admitted, grinning. "But it's still nice, 'ttebane!"

"Yeah..." and what had he done? Discouraged her, for the sake of his own dreams... Minato felt really shitty all of a sudden, and not because his lip was hurting (it wasn't anymore.) "Nice.."

He smiled, then looked at Minato. "What was it again that you're aiming for?" He couldn't really remember if Minato'd told him.

"Ah, I..." What were they talking about again? Was Minato even aiming for something? Right... "Sorry, I spaced out," he put on a blinding smile. "I was going for the police force. Or maybe social worker, I like helping people... I dunno, it might change..."

Kakashi nodded. "Does seem like it'd fit you very well." he commented, a small smile on his lips. "Oh, well. I need to get to bed... Have to get up early and stay up late tomorrow, so... Yeah." he smiled and stood up, stretching and unplugging his guitar, turning off the amplifier.

"Alright. Whatcha doing tomorrow?" Did Kakashi work during the day as well?

"Practice with the band, and some transport to the location... Then sound check, some dinner, the gig, the afterparty... Yeah." he grinned.

"You thnk a rock star's life would be glamorous..." joked Minato, feeling a bit better about that part of things. Regarding Kushina and dreams... not so much.

He shrugged. "Not really. It's stressful, very much so. But it's all worth it in the end." he began walking towards the stairs. "'Night, lovebirds." a final wave as he went up the stairs.

"Night 'Kashi," Kushina called after him, a small smile on her face. Then, her gaze moved back to Minato. She was still stroking his hair, ever so softly.

"Night," Minato called, pretty alright with being referred to as 'lovebirds'.. well, almost anyway. He looked up at Kushina with a small smile.

Kushina just smiled, bend down to kiss him. "Perhaps we should, too. Besides, the couch isn't that... Comfy." her voice carried a tone promising of something... Else.

Well, that cleared his head of thoughts of destroying her future pretty quickly. "You're comfy, though.." It had been way too long since he'd seen her last.. Touched her last..

"Might be..." she grinned, kissed the tip of his nose. "But let's just get upstairs, shall we?" then, she moved to whisper in his ear; "The bedrooms are sound-proofed."

"How do you know that?!" escaped him before he could control it, and he bit his lip (ow!)... that wasn't sexy. Goddamnit.

She grinned. "I heard Kakashi talking about it when he spoke to Genma about the apartment." she grinned. "But it'll work out to our advantage, after all..." a hand slowly descended upon his chest.

Oh. That was good. No 'well we tried it out of course haha silly'. "Is that so," he grinned at her. "Well.. I _am_ sort of sleepy.. And it's a very big bed."

"Exactly my point. Queen sized bed. Very comfy. We should get going and use it for it's intended purposes..." finger drifting over the nipple she could feel through the fabric.
