Gaming afternoon

This was going to be interesting. He hadn't ever really played with anyone else but Genma, Kushina or Rin in the room, but oh well. It wouldn't go horribly wrong, after all.

Kakashi smiled as he turned on his stationary computer, almost getting goosebumps from hearing it whirring to life, the monster he'd bought for himself for christmas - one of the famous Alienware Aurora. Oh god, it sounded like heaven. The Razer headset, mouse and keyboard were all newly cleaned and ready for action, as was his 24" screen - the 30" he had at home simply seemed too big in the small dorm room next to Genma's, which was also 24".

And there was Minato, knocking on the door, with his very standard laptop under the arm, very standard mouse and very standard headset also equipped.

He'd just finished setting up the Skype call, so he told the guys to wait for a bit and muted his mic, before he went to open the door for Minato. "Heya." a friendly smile and he stepped to the side to allow the freshman to enter.

"Hey," said Minato, casting a glance over Kakashi's shoulder and noticing the setup.
"....woah. That's.. which Alienware is that??!"

"Aurora." he grinned. "Took me a little over half a year to save up for this baby, and only two weeks ago I finally got it. Bought it for myself for Christmas, though, so you can figure out how long the waiting time is." he smiled and closed the door behind Minato. "Best 3800 dollars I've ever spent, with the modifications I chose." the look he gave the computer was... Loving. Very much so. "I mean, just listen. You can barely hear it's on until you sit right next to it."

"Daaamn.." Minato nearly whimpered. "Is it water cooled? And is it the one you can double overclock?" He went and stood next to the eigth wonder of the world, staring at it in rapture.

"Yeah." he grinned. "It's the model with the premium version of their liquid cooling system. And yes, it can be overclocked up to 4,3 gHz, 6 cores, with turboboost. 15 mb cache." He grinned. "No expense spared. You want to check it out inside? One of the sides of the chassis can be opened while it still runs."

"Yeah.. yeah sure," Minato groaned in reverence at the technical awesomeness.

He grinned, then went over on the other side, the one facing the window, and took off that one side for Minato to look inside the gaming wonder.

Minato did.
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH.
"Holy.. shit," grunted the younger boy.

"Yeah, she's a beauty to behold, ain't she?" he grinned and gently tapped the expensive computer on the top, taking care not to hit the flaps that were there in the chassis to help even further with cooling and ventilation. "I've been running Mass Effect 3 on highest possible graphics with no lag at all." that game was notorious for overheating cheap computers, destroying their ventilators with warping from the heat.

"No.. way... Mass Effect 3?"
He'd seen the graphics. They were... arousing.
"Can.. can I see?"

"Sure," he grinned and put the side back on, then plopped down into his chair, unpplugging the earphones so that Minato could hear, as well. Then, moving his trusty Razer Memento Mori keyboard closer, and grabbing the WoW-edition Razer mouse he used, he started the game, and continued from wher ehe'd left off; still in the beginning, since, after all, he'd concentrated more on other games these past two weeks he'd had this computer.

"Iuhm. Didn't think you were, y'know. A gamer." Minato gestured to the treasure trove of gaming stuff spread out before him. "Like.. it seems a bit too geeky, y'know."

He chuckled. "Not what you'd expect of one from a metal band, I know."

"Ah, well.. I dunno, I just thought you.. had more of a, well. Rock star lifestyle and.. yeah."

"You'd be surprised how many 'rock stars' are gamers or play pnp." was his comment, as he used the scope to headshot another guard.

"Uhm. Okay. Sure." Minato forgot to speak in favour of drooling over extremely nice, extremely fluent graphics with extremely fast framerate.

And a roll to the side, hide behind a set of boxes, reload, empty magazine in four more guards. "You wanna try?" he then asked, as he reloaded again.

Oh god yes.
"Uhm.. sure.. if.. unless you'd rather play. i brought my laptop..." he gestured to the ok-ish, but rather old and rather common laptop under his arm.

He grinned and shook his head. "Nah, it's fine. I'm still drooling ove this baby myself, doesn't matter who plays, I'll still marvel at the graphics." he saved(just to be sure), and paused the game, before he stood and gestured for Minato to take place in the chair. (leather. as was probably to be suspected.)

Minato carefully sat down, unconsciously groaning a little as he sank into the soft leather.
So... comfy...
He wiped his hand on his jeans before even touching the mouse.

A crooked smile, and he sat down next to him, in Genma's chair, which was in fake leather.

Before long, Minato was lost to the world, happily headshooting away.

"Runs like a dream, eh?" he grinned, watching the look of complete enrapture on Minato's face.
