"At some point, it won't be pretending anymore."

"It'll still be pretending if it's not because it's how I really am. Even if I am extremely boring and .. and everything, compared to y- - compared to other people."

"You're not boring." he sighed. "You're just... I guess... A little too wound up. You really need to just relax. She loves you like crazy. Don't start doubting again."

Now, Minato was actually starting to feel a little insulted. "Whaddaya mean, 'too wound up'? I'm not exactly used to.. used to having anything good in my life that stays that way. I'm .. Sometimes I look at her and I wonder, what am I going to fuck up for her next, and, well, I'm sorry, but you're not exactly making that any better..."

A small sigh, and he ran a hand through her hair. "Look, I'm sorry for that, I really am," -.... no, not really, but he was one heck of a liar with all the practice he'd gotten. "... But I wouldn't ever have gone through with it if I hadn't known she wouldn't mind."

"Right. Because obviously, my girlfriend talks to you about sex rather than me. And oh. Did it ever cross your mind to ask ME if I wanted it?!" (There might have been asking involved. The details were hazy. For the time being, Minato's brain was content to inform him that no asking had taken place.)

He raised an eyebrow. "I asked you before I went ahead and your answer was a moan."

A blush coloured Minato's fair skin. "That did NOT constitute a 'yes'!"

"It certainly wasn't a no, either, the way you were shivering. And I was only touching your hip and stomach."

"I didn't agree to it. You're just like Genma. You just think.. think that other people are your... playthings! Is that how you want me to act? Like you think Kushina wants me to act?"
(Somewhere, Minato's conscience stirred uneasily, making him aware that he was probably not being very fair to a guy he'd begged to suck him off. However, Minato was very skilled at repressing things.)

"If you didn't agree in the start, then at least it was certainly an agreement when you begged me to suck you off." He very calmly ignored the whole playthings part.

"Oh, please!" Minato snorted in would-be derision (which ended up sounding pretty desperate). "I'm a guy. Get me hard enough, I'll say anything to get off. Heck, I'd probably even.. even... sleep with that gross sex ed teacher," he wildly threw out the most disgusting thing he could think of. "It's just hormones, it doesn't mean anything."

"So it didn't when you jacked me off, either?" a crooked smile.

Minato's voice only shook slightly when he returned, "Exactly. It was just a reflex."

"You just keep believing that." a slightly amused snort.

"And you just keep believing that it was anything but," Minato snapped back.

"I will, 'cause I know it's true. If it wasn't, you wouldn't have let it happen a second time. You could've punched me right then and there but you let it happen. You could've punched Genma back when he came onto you, too, but you didn't."

"Maybe - maybe - maybe I'm just a nice guy who doesn't go around randomly punching people!" Minato's voice cracked on the last words.

"Hey. You punched me afterwards. You could've just as well punched me right before."

"Yeah, maybe I should've!"

"A little late to think about it, isn't it? Either way, I'm not convinced. Heck, when I grabbed Grimmjow's ass for fun, I wound up over at Acher with three broken ribs."

"So because I'm not a psycho nutcase and didn't break your ribs, I'm gay? Please," Minato snorted, and then, because of that smug smile on Kakashi's face, struck a rather low blow. "I know you've got the hots for me and everything, but whatever fantasies you're living in, you can stop them, because that's not gonna happen again."

"Bi, not gay." he started out - and the smile instantly faded with the next he said, his entire face changing into an unreadable expression.

"I only want her, that's all I want," Minato started, and then kinda lost his steam as well.

He was back to staring at the screen, but still muttered a small; "Shut up." Was his voice shaking a little?
